Karin Schleier Cox is a native of Bavaria, Germany. She came to live in Florida at the age of 18 and continued to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe. She lived in New York, Miami and Los Angles, where she was working for Walt Disney Studio. After a move to the Northwest, Karin received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern Washington University. Together with her husband, Conrad, she moved into the Eastern Washington Backcountry, at the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, where they designed and built their log home on the beautiful Pend Oreille River. |
| The settting there is just right for a Christmas workshop. Her interest in specialty Santas grew. Soon, she designed her own studio and her Santa workshop came alive. For 12 years now, these uniquely attractive designs have been shipped to many countries and all over the United States. | |
